Z-TECT™’s key benefit for ultrasensitive biomarker detection and high-resolution imaging comes from its ability to greatly amplify signal intensity while minimizing background, therefore greatly improving signal-to-noise (S:N) ratio. While an increased S:N ratio has a direct impact on limit-of-detection (LOD) and limit-of-quantification (LOQ), it also leads to a reduction in the amount of detection reagent needed, a reduction in the amount of sample needed, greater sample dilutions (e.g. when necessary to reduce matrix effects) and/or a reduction in assay time (by reducing incubation times and not requiring additional steps/time for increased sensitivity).
Z-TECT™ is entirely reagent-based and therefore does not require any specialized and costly equipment or instrumentation. As a result Z-TECT™ does not impose significant changes to established protocols or equipment, and works across in vitro (ELISA, Western blot, lateral flow, magnetic beads, fluorescence microscopy, immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry, etc) and in vivo (optical and nuclear imaging) assay formats and platforms. Finally all Z-TECT™ kits were designed as turnkey solutions that provide all the reagents and materials necessary for their use (except for such equipment as pipettes, incubator, microwell plate washer and reader, etc).
All Z-TECT™ HS In Vitro Research Kits were designed to provide the end-user with Research-Use-Only (RUO) turnkey solutions for maximum ease of use and set-up efficiency. They contain all reagents and materials necessary for performing an assay and are fully compatible with standard lab research equipment (microwell plate washers and readers, Western blot imagers, fluorescence microscopes, flow cytometers, etc).
